1、English is widely used throughout the world. So many people speak it as a second language. ()n line, you'll find lots of information in English. If you don't understand English, how can you know more about the world, how can you get more knowledge. At international conferences, English is also used as the official language. Without good English, you cannot express your ideas well at such conferences, neither can you introduce China to the outside world.
2、My favourite city is Shanghai. It is in the east of China. It is an international city. We can travel between Pudong and Puxi very conveniently. We can go shopping and go sightseeing very conveniently. We can see the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Suzhou Creek, People’s Square and so on. We can go shopping and have local snacks and go sightseeing in Shanghai. It is a very beautiful city.
3、I have a very good friend called ***.He is a boy who is very handsome and brave .And also ,he is very helpful.When I have problems with my study ,he often help me.He is very clever,he almost can do everything well.For example,he can play basketball and football very well,and his songs are wonderful ,the songs can nearly move everyone .But my friend is very poor .He has to do some other work at weekends.I really want to help him.But he said,I will do everything by myself.
I'm very proud of my favourite friend.
4、We may obtain knowledge by reading. The more books we read, the more we accumulate the knowledge. Is it right? I don't think so. It's not wide reading but useful reading that leads to excellence. And only good books can benifit us.
So choosing books is very important for reading. Many students spend a lot of time reading legends and swordsman novels.It's a waste of time. Some students even read some bad books and it is harmful for them. So be as careful of the books we read, as of the company we keep, for our habit and character will be as much influened by the former as by the latter.
5、I enjoy reading different kinds of books, but Harry Porter is my favorite one. The story is very long but I am interested in it. Harry was such a brave and clever boy that he dared to fight against powerful enemies.
His Z-shaped scar and magic stick brought me into a magical world. In fact, the fiction story is so meaningful that I can learn a lot from it.
I think it's the best book I've ever read.
6、Last Friday , we had an lesson and it was really unforgettable because it was the last lesson given by our kind English teacher ,Mr Tang.
When Mr Tang slowly went into the classroom ,we could see clearly that it was hard for him to leave us though he had taught us for only three months.He said something about him future plan ,which moved us all deeply.Then he started the last lesson.
We all listened attentively to every word he said .If only we had done like this before！The naughty boys unusually behaved well in this last lesson.
It was obviousthat all of us had the common feeling that we wouldn't let him go.
Though we didn't want our good teacher to go ,it seemed to be too late . As the saying goes,only when we lose something do we realize the value of it.
At last,with the bell ringing,Mr Tang looked at us all soulfully and expressed what he thought. He hoped that we would make progress in our study and become good citizens in society.
What an unforgettable lesson!
7、Today I got up late,and my mother asked me for some shopping.I am so tired that I say I have to got school earlytoday,and then I rushed to school.However,to my surprise,there were no one.Then I remember it is Sunday.and then I came back home without say a word.And my mother told me that I have grown up,I should help them with some houseworks,then I went to shopping,when I got to shop I found that I did not bring any money.Oh,how bad it is today.
